Nueva York albergará el mayor parque eólico marino de EE.UU

La energía generada por ambos parques eólicos abastecerá a más de un millón de hogares.
La energía que cree el parque eólico Sunrise Wind de Orsted y Eversource (816 MW) nutrirá a la ciudad de Nueva York.
Y la que produzca el proyecto Empire Wind Project de Equinor (880 MW) abastecerá la isla de Long Island.
Estos dos proyectos crearán alrededor de 1.600 empleos. Se espera que comiencen a operar en 2024.
