One of North America’s biggest renewable energy conferences is back as the 2022 IPF gets underway in Atlantic City, NJ. Taylor Hopkinson has a strong presence at the event as we look to support the growth of the USA’s budding offshore wind sector.
Workshop: Recruitment Strategies for Growing the Offshore Wind Workforce
On day three of the conference, our CEO Tom Hopkinson chairs the workshop Recruitment Strategies for Growing the Offshore Wind Workforce, as we aim to encourage transatlantic collaboration and address the crucial role of workforce development in progressing pioneering projects. With insight from a distinguished panel of senior figures from the European and US offshore wind markets, we’ll discuss recruiting, training, and mitigating talent demand pinchpoints across the project development timeline.
The workshop takes place at 1pm on Thursday 28th April in Room 308 at the Atlantic City Convention Centre.
Our panel includes:
- Chair: Tom Hopkinson, CEO at Taylor Hopkinson
- Jennifer Menard, VP, National Offshore Wind Institute at Bristol Community College
- Jeremy Stefek, Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory
- Andy Williamson, Head of Energy Transition at skills body OPITO
- Bruce Carlisle, Manager Director, Offshore Wind at Massachusetts Clean Energy Centre.
