Our offshore wind QA/QC services

QA/QC Surveillance

In addition to our world-leading contract recruitment services, we also offer turnkey QA/QC site co-ordination and surveillance solutions to the world’s leading offshore wind owner/operators. We have in-country presence at the industry’s foremost fabrication sites, and we specialise in fast, efficient, compliant selection and mobilisation of QA/QC surveyors for both short- and medium- term scopes of work. We act as single point of contact – streamlining the manufacturing process, mitigating risk, cutting costs and saving time for our clients.

Global Mobility

Taylor Hopkinson and Brunel’s mobility specialists support the relocation of your team members anywhere in the world quickly and easily, covering every detail to remove the stress of international assignments. Benefits of using our global mobility services include:

  • We have local experts in more than 180 countries. We deliver global mobility services into over 180 countries through an extensive network of qualified consultants – the local experts. No matter where the relocation, our local community cuts through bureaucracy to streamline the process.
  • We cater to your time zone. Time zones are one of the biggest challenges related to global mobility. They can slow down communications and contribute to confusion and stress. Due to our global footprint and international specialists, we can overcome this challenge and operate 24/7. Unlike smaller global mobility companies, we have both international and local teams available to assist — whatever time of day.
  • We can help your team adapt quickly. Employees adjust best to relocation when they have resources to help them adapt. We provide access to language and culture training, insights into customs and social cues, integration support and more.
  • We cover every detail for your peace of mind. Our experts take care of everything from travel management, insurance and immigration to relocation services, HR and financial support and demobilisation.

Vendor Inspection

Taylor Hopkinson and Brunel provide detailed inspection services, integrity checks and high-quality technical support during the manufacturing process, prior to equipment leaving the manufacturing site, and post-transportation. Our experienced personnel inspect and validate according to your specifications, and our capabilities include third-party inspection, vendor quality audit and vendor expedition – guaranteeing a streamlined process and time and money saved for our clients.

Scope of Works

With a Statement of Work (SoW), our clients have the option to outsource project-based work for an all-inclusive price. SoW agreements detail specific terms for delivering exact services and/or goods, including the scope of service, pricing, deliverables and timelines. Managing agreements for construction, processing, fabrication, assembly, installation, report or commissioning of movable or immovable properties and more, Taylor Hopkinson and Brunel assist clients as they expand their operations, while minimising risk and saving money.

Case study

Delivering global site teams for a pioneering offshore wind project

In 2022, Taylor Hopkinson was appointed sole supplier of QA/QC surveillance services by an international consortium for all of the major components being fabricated for a European offshore wind project.

This included foundations, IAC/export cables, OSS and turbines at fabrication yards and factories across China, Europe, Middle East and the US. As well as delivering the entire site-based fabrication team, our scope of works in China included a turnkey service offering. We coordinated the issue of all necessary visas, managed payroll, ensured all taxes were paid, arranged meet and greet sessions with contractors, and booked accommodation and daily transfers.

By choosing Taylor Hopkinson, our client benefits from our deep offshore wind expertise, outstanding relationships with local suppliers, and unwavering approach to compliance.
