Opportunity for an Italian and Mandarin speaking professional to join a global leading EV Charger company in Italy, as Country Manager.

Location Milan

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing business strategies to expand our presence in the Italian market. You will lead and build a high-performing team across sales, pre-sales, after-sales, and project management, while ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the sales team in Italy, and provide guidance and support to achieve them.
  2. Lead the recruitment, training, and development of the sales, pre-sales, after-sales, and project management teams.
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to penetrate the Italian market and increase market share.
  4. Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  6. Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and drive sales.
  7. Collaborate with the product development team to gather market insights and feedback for product improvement and innovation.
  8. Prepare and present regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and key initiatives to senior management.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all business activities.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Proven track record of success in key account management or business management roles. Experience in telecommunication, renewable energy, automotive industry is a huge plus.
  3. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving common goals.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Italian and proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  5. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
  6. Experience in managing key accounts and building long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  7. Knowledge of the Italian market, including regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
