- Formulate a strategic plan and budget requirements for growth in the target market, and persistently push for the achievement of strategic milestones that will progress a project through its various development stages;
- Cultivate, promote, and oversee existing or new downstream solar projects, including aspects such as permitting, interconnection, land, community relations, stakeholder management, and all associated budgets;
- Spearhead development initiatives for greenfield projects, co-development, and project acquisitions within specified markets/sectors;
- Supervise cross-functional teams comprising legal, financial, project management, and asset management resources to scrutinise and finalise transactions in line with department objectives;
- Draft and negotiate various agreements such as joint venture agreements, development agreements, shareholder agreements, etc.;
- Recognise and cultivate relationships with project developers, financial institutions, investors, contractors, lawyers, consultants, authorities, grid operators, advisors, manufacturers, and other market participants to sustain a project pipeline.
