About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to manage financial operations and support the growth of renewable energy projects. You will collaborate with project teams, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to the success of renewable energy developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Support budgeting, financial modelling, and project cost tracking to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Perform reconciliations and manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and analysis to drive decision-making.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the renewable energy or related industries.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
