Taylor Hopkinson is in search of a highly skilled an experienced BESS Sales Director located anywhere in CA/TX/AZ/PA/NY with a A global leader in green technology, this company specializes in renewable energy solutions across three main sectors: wind turbines, energy storage, and green hydrogen and they are consider the only fully integrated company.

The BESS Sales Director will drive sales and market expansion for our energy storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and a proven track record in solution-based sales within the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share for BESS solutions.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key clients, including developers, utilities, EPCs, and IPPs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial structuring to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and operations, to ensure solutions meet client needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive brand positioning and business development efforts in target markets, including North America.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or power markets, with a strong focus on sales.
  • Deep understanding of BESS technology, applications, and project development cycles.
  • Strong network within the renewable energy sector, particularly in utility-scale and commercial BESS markets.
  • Proven ability to close large-scale deals and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
