Business Analyst

Business Analyst required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Denmark.

Key responsibilities

  • You drive refinement & alignment of requirements with affected stakeholders, ensuring:
  • Requirements are prioritised and traceable to business objectives; and requirements are SMART (so they can be tracked and delivered by the projects or agile delivery teams).
  • You collaborate with projects or agile delivery teams to ensure that requirements have clear and testable acceptance criteria.
  • You drive and/or support the definition of associated business value, both quantitively and qualitatively.
  • You act as interface and facilitator between business stakeholders and digital delivery teams.
  • You participate in shaping change management strategies and plan to ensure business change is successfully rolled out and embedded.
  • You document the requirements and ensure governance processes are followed.
  • You ensure that expectations are managed and deviations, risks and bottlenecks are timely communicated to business and project management.
  • You translate business needs into future operating model descriptions and associated business/organisation/technology/solution requirements (collectively referred to as “requirements”)

Key tasks

  • Proven experience in business analysis and requirements management in the Energy sector.
  • Proven experience applying industry standards for documenting processes (e.g. BPMN) and requirements (e.g. user stories or SysML)
  • Experience in and understanding of corporate IT landscapes
  • Experience with both traditional project methods as well as agile ways of working. Demonstrable experience in implementing new processes and performing change management in a complex international organisation with different stakeholders on various levels.
  • Knowledge of the following areas is preferred: Renewable energy, Asset maintenance, Financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to explain complex topics in an understandable way to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stress-resistant and able to prioritize and focus.
