Business Development Manager Poland

We are looking for highly motivated Business Development Manager to join a global photovoltaic and energy storage solutions provider.

The role is based in Poland. The company offers a local contract, full remote work and a competitive benefits package based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy for utility-scale solar projects across Poland and Europe
  • Identify, assess, and pursue new project opportunities, strategic partnerships, and competitive tenders to drive market expansion and revenue growth
  • Perform comprehensive market, regulatory, and policy analysis to anticipate industry trends, competitive landscape evolution, and regulatory changes affecting project development in Poland and the broader European market
  • Lead and manage complex commercial negotiations with developers, investors, EPC contractors, and offtakers, overseeing the entire transaction lifecycle through to successful contract execution
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, regulatory forums, and client meetings across Poland and Europe, strengthening market presence, brand positioning, and long-term strategic relationships
  • Work cross-functionally with technical, legal, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure project bankability, competitiveness, and on-time delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, energy or business
  • Previous and proven experience in business development within the solar PV or energy storage industry, with knowledge of the local authorities and stakeholders
  • Established network of contacts with TSOs and DSOs
  • Experience participating in local and international tenders
  • Languages: Polish and English required
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote work environment
