Cable Loadouts and Transportation required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Client based in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Looking after cables loadout and transportation.
- Covering the loadout at Manufacturer.
- Load-in to Marshalling Harbour.
- Loadout at Port to the vessel.
- Monitor cable handling during loading onto transport vessels or storage carousels.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific QA/QC plans, HSE requirements, and handling procedures.
- Conduct visual inspections for physical damage, armoring issues, and sheath integrity.
- Witness and document cable tests (e.g., OTDR, TDR, insulation resistance).
- Coordinate with cable manufacturer, client representatives, vessel crew, and project engineers.
- Maintain detailed loadout records, photographs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) if needed.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Full and valid GWOs.
- Relevant quality or inspection certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IRCA, CSWIP) preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience working with subsea cables.
- EU working rights.
