About Our client
Our client is an international development and investment management company focused on delivering steady quality in the rapidly evolving solar energy industry.
The company is developing projects in Spain and Portugal, the Baltic region, Poland, Italy, Germany, Romania and rapidly expanding to other markets.
We are seeking a hands-on, energetic, and strategic CFO to oversee financial operations and play a key role in scaling the business.
Role’s Responsibilities
The CFO will be responsible for treasury, accounting, tax, reporting, and consolidation, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The CFO will work closely with the CEO and board of Directors to drive financial strategy and operational excellence.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
* Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
* Financial Planning and Analysis:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
* Responsible to establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Identify and assess financial risks, including tax impacts and fiscal risks associated with the company’s operations. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with tax regulations and fiscal obligations.
* Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support growth initiatives and optimize capital allocation:
* Develop and implement the company’s investment strategy in collaboration with relevant investment committees.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support investment decision-making processes, contributing to the successful execution of the investment strategy and portfolio management.
* Lead financial due diligence and valuation processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
* Conduct thorough investment analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessments, to support investment decision making.
* Monitor and manage the company’s portfolio, ensuring diversification, risk mitigation, and alignment with financial targets.
* Regularly assess the performance of existing investments and make recommendations for adjustments or divestments as necessary.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, maintaining strong relationships and providing accurate financial information.
* Lead corporate financing initiatives, including capital raising, debt restructuring, and strategic financial partnerships, to support the company’s growth and financial objectives.
* Oversee financial activities in the company’s international operating countries, including Spain, USA, Africa, and Italy, while actively supporting expansion plans into new area.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as senior finance executive in multinational environment, in a high-growth company, ideally within renewable energy or a related sector.
* Strong experience in treasury, accounting, tax, reporting, and consolidation.
* Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute financial and investment strategies that align with the company’s vision and support sustainable growth.
* Knowledge of Luxembourg’s regulatory and tax framework (mandatory if based in Luxembourg).
* International experience managing financial operations across multiple countries.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, dynamic, energetic, and hands-on approach.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
* Fluent in English (mandatory); Spanish is preferred.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate complex financial and investment data into actionable insights.
