Civil Engineer, Onshore Wind

Company Overview

Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with a renowned onshore wind developer in Korea.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical reviews of civil engineering aspects across the development, construction, and operation phases of wind power projects
  • Perform reviews of civil design, constructability, and project costs during the early-stage permitting and project acquisition phases
  • Manage construction activities including schedule control, budget management, and EPC contract management, and provide regular reports to shareholders
  • Coordinate and manage interfaces among EPC contractors, supervision consultants, and the Owner’s Engineer (OE)
  • Support permitting, government liaison, and external stakeholder engagement for wind power projects as required, including project management (PM), consultant management, and handling of civil complaints
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including project acquisitions and greenfield project development, as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Civil Engineering major required)
  • 5~10 years experience in wind power project development or construction
  • Understanding of wind power, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors
  • Strong project management and external coordination skills
  • Experience in permitting and civil engineering design/management
  • Fluent in English for both speaking and written
