Taylor Hopkinson is searching for an experienced PV Construction Engineer for a global Independent Power Producer in the renewable energy sector.
The job is located in Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise PV system construction, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Assist site manager in achieving project goals and subcontractor responsibilities.
- Establish and enforce safety measures.
- Manage project timelines and adjust schedules as needed.
- Evaluate subcontractor QA plans and performance.
- Conduct on-site inspections, reporting discrepancies to the construction manager and QA/QC team.
- Ensure construction meets quality, cost, safety, and performance standards.
- Lead project reviews.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, Romanian Standards, and project plans.
- Guide subcontractors and construction teams to meet goals.
- Compile project updates and contribute to all project documents.
- Cooperate with teams to ensure project completion within set standards and timeframe. Participate in lessons learned for future projects.
- Provide technical assistance during the installation phase.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Over three years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Romanian Standards and Regulations for Solar Farm equipment setup.
- Prior responsibility for managing budgets and costs.
- Proven success in overseeing projects.
- Effective use of English and fluency in Romanian.
- Excellent skills in communication and teamwork.
