We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Melineşti, Dolj, Romania or in Mosteni.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the construction, installation, and commissioning of PV systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, codes, and standards.
- Assist the site manager in achieving project scope, quality, and milestones, ensuring subcontractor compliance.
- Establish and enforce safety practices and protocols in line with standards.
- Lead and familiarize yourself with project schedules, adjusting them to meet on-time project requirements.
- Review and manage subcontractor QA plans and procedures to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Perform field inspections of ongoing work, reporting any deviations or deficiencies to the construction manager and QA/QC team.
- Ensure adherence to construction standards regarding quality, cost, safety, timeliness, and performance.
- Oversee the review process throughout all project phases.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, Romanian standards, and project programs.
- Provide guidance and supervision to subcontractors and construction teams on engineering methods and procedures.
- Prepare project status reports and contribute to engineering, design, and construction documents.
- Support supply chain, engineering, and on-site teams to ensure project delivery meets standards and timelines.
- Contribute to lessons learned and the improvement of construction methods for future projects.
- Offer technical support and guidance to construction crews, contractors, and subcontractors during the installation phase.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3+ years of working experience in related role.
- Deep understanding of Romanian Standards and Regulations related to Solar Farm equipment installation.
- Previous accountability for budgeting and cost management.
- Successful track record in project supervision.
- Good use of English language and proficiency in Romanian.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
