Commercial Asset Manager, Greece

Taylor Hopkinson is searching for a Commercial Asset Manager for a leading independent power producer currently operating renewable energy assets in Greece.

This person will lead the local Asset Management department and strategy, focusing on optimizing operational and financial performance.

The role is based in Athens, with the possibility of hybrid work.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement asset management and energy trading strategies for solar PV and onshore wind projects in Greece
  • Oversee commercial contracts, budgets, performance reporting, and agreements with external partners
  • Execute contracts for the sale of energy, property rights, and guarantees of origin
  • Support commercial negotiations, insurance processes, and investment activities
  • Develop and manage projects related to tenders and new portfolio acquisition, including negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with and manage team members when required
  • Lead digitalization and automation initiatives within asset management

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing renewable energy assets, including commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluent in English and Greek
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
