Job Summary
The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and business development within the logistics, renewables, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors in Vietnam. This role involves building and leading a sales team, developing a sales pipeline, and achieving sustainable revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Marketing Execution: Implement sales and marketing strategies within the Vietnam market.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify potential customers in targeted sectors, maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze and report on market trends, with support from industry information sources.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare high-quality proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage any payment or claim-related issues.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with regional and local teams, establishing regular reporting schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed targets for sales growth and revenue generation.
- Vendor Engagement: Approve service orders with vendors and customers according to the authorization matrix.
- Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to team operations alongside the Regional Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or project cargo, preferably within renewable energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors.
- Strong network and experience in project logistics is advantageous.
