Commissioning Engineer

Responsible for supporting the cross‐disciplinary Commissioning Group, in a team environment, to ensure the overall success of the project by ensuring the offshore substation (OSS) and wind turbine (WTG) electrical equipment is properly constructed, tested, and ready for operation by direct involvement, preparation,

Responsible to coordinate and engage in testing and operaation of OSS & WTG auxiliary systems and associated controls, such as, but not limited to: heating, cooling, and ventilation, cleaning water, diesel storage, supply, and standby generator, fire alarms and extinguishing, lighting, navaids, safety criticall equipment, low‐voltage supply including batteries.

Ensure the offshore substation equipment is tested and operating correctly and according to design specification.

Onsite owner’s representation to witness, inspect, audit, walkdown, and accept work activities and documentation related to commissioning

Ensure electrical health and safety program is followed, appropriate and effective during all work activities

Authorize, audit, and supervise electrical activities as needed as electrical authorized person

Coordinate, deconflict, and document commissioning operations onshore and offshore.

Review and monitor OSS commissioning progress and create reports as needed

Support all commissioning scope activities from onshore to offshore during the project

Support Commissioning Manager with project planning and preparation.

Review and ensure OSS commissioning As‐Built Documentation handover process compliance.

Review technical procedures, documents, checklists, and schedules for criticality and validity.

Assist in creation and review of plans and procedures commissioning, isolation, and energization of assets.
