Commissioning Manager

Commissioning Manager required for a Major Green Hydrogen Developer based in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and supervision of construction and assembly work, particularly with regard to compliance with installation and execution drawings.
  • Coordination and supervision of construction and assembly work with a focus on adherence to costs, deadlines, agreed quality, and occupational and environmental safety.
  • Participation in site meetings.
  • Recording and reporting of construction progress to Client site management or project management.
  • Coordination of ongoing activities with Client site managers from other trades to ensure optimal project flow.
  • Documentation of deficiencies in subcontractor performance.
  • Participation in or preparation of deficiency notices for under performance.
  • Evaluation of additional claims from subcontractors.
  • Participation in the acceptance of partial or complete scopes.
  • Coordination and supervision of commissioning activities.
  • Daily planning and coordination of commissioning procedures and other measures with commissioning staff from contractors/suppliers and operating personnel.
  • Coordination of the contractual and timely provision of operational and auxiliary materials required for commissioning.
  • Review of necessary measurement and test protocols.
  • Ensuring prompt reporting of exceptional incidents to the project manager or other relevant parties for potential notification of regulatory authorities or other public bodies.
  • Reporting depending on the commissioning phases.
  • Final report on events during the commissioning period with critical assessment of key incidents and experiences

Requirements

  • Preferably extensive professional experience in site and commissioning management.
  • Experience in plant construction or power plant environments is required.
  • Ability to work with international and multidisciplinary teams on-site.
  • Valid SCC certificate (important).
  • EU working rights.
  • German speaking preferred.
