Construction Package Manager – Major Offshore Wind Project (South Korea)

A leading international renewable energy developer is seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Package Manager to join the delivery team for a landmark offshore wind farm in South Korea. With a planned capacity of around 550MW and commercial operations set for early 2029, this project will be one of the first utility-scale offshore wind farms in the country.

This is a senior-level opportunity for a skilled professional with deep offshore construction experience, particularly in multi-package coordination and marine operations. You will be responsible for the planning, integration, and execution of offshore construction activities – ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery from pre-assembly through to commissioning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all offshore construction activities across multiple packages (foundations, WTG, electrical systems)

  • Oversee establishment and operation of the Marine Coordination Centre and offshore construction base

  • Manage vessel logistics, port operations, and readiness reviews

  • Act as the offshore site lead during construction campaigns

  • Ensure full integration with onshore construction, commissioning, HSE, and project management teams

  • Manage contractor performance, interfaces, and compliance with safety and environmental standards

  • Prepare and implement Offshore Work Authorisation Procedures

  • Control and report on schedule, budget, and risk at the offshore site level

  • Recruit and lead the offshore site team, ensuring competence, coordination, and adherence to project standards


You Will Bring:

  • A degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine Engineering, or similar field

  • 7-10 years’ experience managing large-scale offshore wind projects and previous delivery and execution of similar projects is essential

  • Expertise in offshore construction coordination, marine logistics, and contractor management

  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills

  • Experience working in international, multidisciplinary environments

  • Preferred: IPMA or PMI PMP certification or equivalent
