Taylor Hopkinson is in the search of a Construction Project Manager for a leading renewable company that is specialized in the development and construction of energy projects.
The role is based in Sofia with punctual trips to the site. This person will be responsible for managing a relevant portfolio of projects in Bulgaria from the brownfield stage, including the construction until the COD.
Role
- Lead the projects that are on the construction stage since the agreement of the EPC contract until the COD
- While supervising the construction, be in contact with local authorities, external advisors, engineering companies and so on
- Review the engineering documents and managing the budget during the different stages
- Ensure the local team is working on the expected performance, supervising the local team on site
- Supervise the projects are being delivered within the quality and economical metrics as well as ensure the H&S compliance
- Evaluate possible risks that affect the normal performance of the project to make timely decisions, mitigate them or reduce their impacts
- Report project status, manage the financial aspects of the projects and optimize some processes if needed
- Support during the grid connection stage
Requirements
- Professional Bachelor, ideally Electrical Engineering or other Engineering disciplines
- Experience during the stage of construction of solar PV or wind projects
- Project Management knowledge would be appreciated
- Fluency in English and Bulgarian
- Willingness to travel locally and abroad when required (headquarters)
