Construction Project Manager required for a Major Nuclear Energy Facility Owner.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Nuclear Facility Projects. Oversee large-scale mechanical or electrical projects within a nuclear facility, including RWST Chiller Replacement, Vent Stack Rad Monitor Replacement, or Step Up Transformer (XFRM) upgrades, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate, lead, and collaborate with diverse teams including engineering, procurement, and construction professionals, ensuring seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems in a nuclear setting.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, specifically tailored for nuclear facility projects, ensuring successful project delivery within schedule, scope, and cost parameters.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to strict nuclear industry regulations and standards (NRC, INPO, etc.), particularly for safety, environmental, and operational protocols during project execution.
  • Provide regular project updates and manage project risks proactively.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks, with a strong focus on maintaining a high level of safety for workers and the facility, especially during critical installations and replacements.
  • Oversee resource allocation and manage project budgets efficiently, ensuring the availability of necessary materials, personnel, and equipment to support on-time project completion.

Requirements:

  • MUST have nuclear background and prior work experience working as a PM at a nuclear facility.
  • 10+ of project management experience, 5+ directly in the nuclear field.
  • 5+ years of Project Management Experience working on large mechanical or electrical projects as the PM.
  • MUST have worked directly as the PM on a project handling at least ONE of the below at a nuclear facility:
    • RWST Chiller Replacement
    • Vent Stack Rad Monitor Replacement
    • Step Up XFRM
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
