Construction Project Manager
The Offshore Construction Project Manager reports to the Manager - Site Construction, Offshore Wind. This role oversees the scope, schedule, and budget of the T&I package for the project, including onshore/offshore construction and coordination with package managers, site teams, offshore client representatives, and the Commissioning team. Responsibilities include ensuring the transportation, installation, and commissioning of equipment align with Client's requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership.
- Experience in offshore wind, maritime, or heavy industrial construction.
- Coordination with Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and T&I Contractor.
- Strong knowledge of marine, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Familiarity with high voltage, substations, and associated control systems (preferred).
- Risk management for offshore transportation and installation.
- Ability to work in a diverse, international team and solve project challenges.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Proficiency in technical drawings, documents, and reports.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality in all project activities.
- Oversee transportation and installation of Monopiles, Transition Pieces, cables, OSS jackets, and topside components.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and risks during the BOP construction phase.
- Support project coordination across various interfaces (Electric Transmission, WTG installation, commissioning, etc.).
- Review Method Statements, ITPs, NCRs, MOC, work permits, equipment load-outs/load-ins, FAT, and completion certifications.
- Monitor project progress, scheduling, and equipment load-outs, providing accurate reports.
- Participate in progress and technical alignment meetings.
- Coordinate with MWS project manager for COA documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
