Taylor Hopkinson is in the search of a Construction Project Manager for a leading renewable company that is specialized in the development, construction, operation and asset management of solar PV and onshore wind projects.
This person will be responsible for managing a relevant portfolio of projects in Romania from the brownfield stage, including the construction until the COD.
Role
- Support the development team during the licencing and building permits to obtain the RTB stage
- Once the projects are about to start the construction, tendering and negotiation with local EPC companies
- While supervising the construction, be in contact with local authorities, external advisors, EPC contractors, etc
- Review the engineering documents and managing the budget during the different stages
- Ensure the local EPC contractor is working on the expected performance, supervising the local team on site
- Supervise the projects are being delivered within the quality and economical metrics as well as ensure the H&S compliance
- Evaluate possible risks that affect the normal performance of the project to make timely decisions, mitigate them or reduce their impacts
- Report project status, manage the financial aspects of the projects and optimize some processes if needed
- Support during the grid connection stage
Requirements
- Professional Bachelor, ideally Electrical Engineering but open as long as the person has knowledge of electrical systems
- Experience during the stage of construction of solar or wind large-scale projects is mandatory
- Project Management knowledge would be appreciated
- Fluent in English and Romanian
- Willingness to travel locally and abroad when required (headquarters)
