Role Overview
Country HR Manager acts as a facilitator and an enabler to provide strategic and operational human resource advice in reinforcing positive development of company culture, driving organisational development and supporting best HR practices to support the development of a strong, growth focused sustainable business. This role is responsible for ensuring day-to-day HR functions are performed in accordance with the Group policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring alignment of country HR strategies with Group wide frameworks and initiatives, develop country strategic plan to best position the business to deliver current priorities while position the business for growth.
- Oversee the regular review and roll out of HR policies, employment policies and procedures in compliance to BLA’s standards and evolving local labor law.
- Manage all core HR departmental areas, including payroll, employee relations, HR admin, learning and development, recruitment, employee engagement, and maintaining and improving HR systems.
- Provide advice and direction where needed to the HR team on work priorities, managing payroll, budget and staff resources, strategies, policies, organization and staff management issues.
- Ensure the recruitment and onboarding process is handled in accordance with Group’s recruitment and onboarding/induction structure (and localization of content is only applicable to adhere to local legislations and regulations) in a professional manner to allow new hire to integrate into the business as swiftly as possible.
- Applying local HR knowledge and experience, propose to management on employee programmes, employees’ benefits and packages to ensure market competitiveness to attract and retain talent.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR management, or relevant
- + 5 years experience in in similar role and ability to work in a matrix organization
- Knowledge and expertise related to HR policies, processes and practices of Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development
- Fluent in English for both speaking and written
