Role
The role will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of the current and future portfolio. This individual will work with cross-functional teams, drive projects to completion and ensure all developments align with company goals and industry standards. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in renewable energy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement, combined with a passion for advancing sustainable energy solutions.
This role includes the potential opportunity to hire and develop direct reports depending ability and the development of project pipeline.
- Project Leadership:
- Oversee individual project development and execution, including feasibility studies, permitting, design, and construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Team Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site owners, regulators, utilities, contractors, and other key stakeholders to facilitate project success.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Financial Oversight:
- Manage project schedules, budgets and cost estimates to maximize project profitability and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for project portfolio execution
- Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver detailed project updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required plus expertise in ESRI and Sitetracker products
- Experience in renewable energy
- Keen, demonstrated interest in the renewable energy – water nexus
- Ability to work in a project team- and objective-driven environment with tight deadlines and concurrent deliverables while also able to operate autonomously based on management’s directives to pursue commercial leads and achieve milestones
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to prospective project sites as required, a valid driver’s license required, and comfortable with solo travel.
