Responsibilities
The Site EHS Manager is accountable functionally to Corporate EHS and operationally to the SM.
The Site EHS Manager has authority over EHS activities on site.
The Site EHS Manager is responsible to:
- Develop and manage the EHS program.
- Assist the SM in handling the EHS related aspects of the construction site.
- Inspect construction methods regarding environmental, health and safety.
- Ensure subcontractors are trained on EHS procedures.
- Compile EHS reports.
- Manage and administer hazardous material.
- Coordinate with safety, health and environment authorities having jurisdiction over the project.
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits.
