Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize equipment downtime and maintain high availability.

Collaborate closely with the O&M contractor (Japanese fluency required).

Develop annual maintenance and inspection plans with the O&M contractor.

Provide technical support for warranty management, spare parts, and insurance claims.

Work with external experts to identify and resolve long-term plant performance issues.

Negotiate with suppliers on warranty matters from a technical perspective.

Comply with all site-specific health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in solar projects.

Preferred certifications: Chief Electrical Engineer (Class 3 or higher) or Electrical Construction Management Engineer (Level 1).

Knowledge of solar-related equipment (inverters, substations, PV modules, etc.).

Experience using monitoring systems for plant and equipment performance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Valid standard driving license.
Language Requirements:

Native-level Japanese.

Business-level English (TOEIC 500+ or equivalent reading/writing proficiency; verbal communication skills preferred).
