Electrical Engineer – France

Taylor Hopkinson are proud to be searching for a Lead Electrical Engineer to handle Electrical activities for France.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components and systems for our clients onshore wind fleet.

This fully remote position involves regular travel to sites for inspections around France.

We’re looking for someone HV experienced, preferably with a background in Power Systems who is well versed in national Electrical legislation and working with DNOs and TSOs.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of electrical system designs (Schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings)
• Project Management and implementation, ensuring electrical projects are delivered on time and within budget to required standards
• Testing and commissioning to ensure functionality and safety of electrical systems.
• Managing Contracts and coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance activities with electrical suppliers

Your profile

• Proficiency in Electrical Design software with a strong understanding of electrical systems, components and design principles
• Knowledge of French safety standards, codes and regulations
• Can interpret and create technical drawings and specifications
• Proven experience in designing, implementing and maintaining electrical systems
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters preferred
• PE license desirable
• Able to travel domestically and internationally when required
• Native level French language skills and fluent English skills required
