General responsibilities:

Represent Client during fabrication of the electrical systems on the Turbine Foundations, including but not limited to LV systems, Earthing system, Array Cables Support, Measurements, and SCADA/Radio systems. Supervise contractor to ensure successful fabrication and assembly of the Turbine Foundations on time and within the required Quality standards and HSE regulations.

Ensure that free-issued equipment and components are installed, handled, and maintained in accordance with the project and vendor requirements.

Supervise commissioning/testing of electrical systems.

Provide advice and support to the Foundation Fabrication Manager.

Ensure that the Contractor is in line with agreed design and to the required specifications/quality.

Maintain a safe work environment within the team and among the contractors/sub-contractors on site according to HSE guidelines and local procedures.

Support all relevant interfaces between Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Contractors’ QA/QC Representatives.

The Electrical Supervisor reports to the Fabrication Manager.
HSE/QA responsibilities:
-
Stay informed of the HSE system and the procedures relevant to the function and work in accordance with the requirements defined therein.

React to observed nonconformities and safety-related incidents.
Main tasks – Support to fabrication:
-
Planning: The supervisor shall plan and align with the Fabrication Manager when to inspect the Turbine Foundations. Planning with other stakeholders is required both internally and externally.

Align with HV cables department on layout and quantity of accessories: The supervisor shall become familiar with Array cable accessories and the layout for each Turbine Foundation.

Align with SCADA department on antenna and cable installation and requirements: The supervisor shall become familiar with antenna layout and installation methods.

Inspections with DIT (Digital Inspection Tool): The supervisor shall use the Digital Inspection Tool software program to perform all inspections.

Inspection of free-issued items at fabrication yard: The supervisor shall, in collaboration with the Foundation Contractor, supervise the installation of free-issued items, e.g., switchgears, electrical panels, etc.

Test on Completion, review of Electrical Test Certification, closing of punch lists: The supervisor shall review the Electrical Test Certification. Upon approval, the supervisor shall conduct a full inspection walkdown (Test on Completion) of the Turbine Foundation using DIT. Punch list(s) shall be submitted to the Contractor and closed before the loadout deadline.

Documentation responsibilities: Ensure all associated and relevant documentation is received, reviewed, and uploaded to the dedicated project document control system (e.g., test documents, delivery notes, incoming inspection reports, observation/NCR reports, photos, DIT reports, etc.).

Reporting: Provide the Fabrication Manager with daily input for monthly reports regarding progress, status, deliveries, open points, and any other project-related information.
Requirements: Qualifications:

3 – 5 years of experience as an Electrical Fabrication Supervisor

According to the specific function requirements (Responsibilities and main tasks)

Electrical Engineering degree

Site experience on fabrication yards, pre-assembly, or construction sites

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Experience with wind turbines is not mandatory

GWO courses for onshore fabrication: None

Ability to work at heights between 10 – 30 feet
-
Must be physically fit; the job requires significant walking (at least 10,000 steps a day) and climbing ladders
