Engineering and Technical Manager to join a leading renewable energy company that develops, constructs and operates renewable assets in Europe, currently expanding their business also in Romania.
The role is based in Bucharest, with the possibility of having some remote working.
Role
- Collaborate with the local development team support during the permitting process preparing and supervising the technical documentation
- Review designs and the electrical specifications of the projects during the pre-construction process and later during the construction
- Support the projects after the RTB prepares the construction: check the engineering designs, read RFP, search for contractors and negotiate conditions with them
- Manage the procurement during the tendering process (RFQ, RFP), cost control and improvement of the procedures to ensure they are on the budget
- Interact with local authorities supporting the grid connection process and providing the technical documentation expected
- Additionally, assess potential projects for their acquisition or sale and support during the different stages of development
- Support and check the construction process and visit the site when needed
Requirements
- Experience on-site as an electrical engineer would be highly appreciated
- Knowledge of the Romanian renewable energy market and of the local authorities and procedures
- Technical education background, ideally Electrical or other engineering degrees
- Fluent in Romanian and English
- Availability to travel when needed
