Environmental Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in Poland
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing support in managing environmental activities (incl. monitoring works, surveys, etc.)
- Responsible for environmental compliance on the project and the relevant work packages
- Responsible for supporting the interface with environmental authorities and undertaking consultations
- Interface with the ESG team and ensuring environmental compliance of the Lender’s environmental requirements
- Provide expertise in Ecology and Biodiversity Management/No Net Loss
- Subject Matter Expert in environmental compliance and biodiversity/ecology
Requirements
- MSc or other relevant Master degree in Environmental Science, with a focus on Ecology and/or Biodiversity
- Relevant work experience with Biodiversity No Net Loss compensation/calculation or local ecology compensation schemes.
- Relevant experience within offshore wind industry or a related industry
- Strong coordination and communication skills in Polish/English
- Relevant transferable education and skills sufficient to perform the Project Tasks
