Taylor Hopkinson is partnering with a leading renewable energy company to recruit Service Technicians, Engineers, and Managers to support the operation and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across strategic sites in Northeastern Poland (Podlaskie region).
As a Service Engineer/Manager, you’ll ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of BESS installations. Your responsibilities will include routine and reactive maintenance, system diagnostics and providing both remote and on-site support. You’ll be working directly with advanced energy storage technology in a role offering strong development and career potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot and resolve system faults on-site and remotely
- Perform software/firmware upgrades and monitor system performance
- Manage and track spare parts inventory
- Provide customer support via phone and remote diagnostics
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with regulations
- Maintain service records and job reports
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to provide field insights
Requirements
- Electrical or electro-mechanical qualification
- Maintenance experience renewable energy projects, ideally BESS but not mandatory
- Flexibility to travel to multiple northern Polish sites; occasional overnight stays or international travel may be required
- English language proficiency is essential
- SEP electrical certificates (G1 E or G1 E+D)
- Electrical construction license
