Finance Analyst
Vårgrønn is hiring for a finance analyst to join their team in London, supporting financing activities across their renewable energy projects, as part of their wider corporate team.
Vårgrønn is an agile, Norway-based offshore wind company powering the energy transition through development, construction, operation, and ownership of offshore wind assets. Vårgrønn is a joint venture between the energy company Plenitude (Eni) and the Norwegian energy entrepreneur and investor HitecVision.
Vårgrønn holds a 20% share in Dogger Bank, the world’s largest offshore wind farm under construction, and has together with Flotation Energy been awarded exclusivity to develop the two floating offshore wind projects Green Volt and CENOS in Scotland with a combined capacity up to 1.9 GW. Green Volt is on track to become Europe’s first commercial scale floating offshore wind farm.
We are collaborating with Equinor to develop a floating offshore wind project at Utsira Nord in Norway of up to 750 MW. In Ireland, we are partnering with Energia Renewables to develop offshore wind projects of up to 1.8 GW. Vårgrønn is leading a collaboration with European Energy towards the upcoming auction rounds in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. With a target of at least 5 GW by 2030 from offshore wind in operation or development, our organisation is based in Stavanger, Oslo, and London, and is expanding to meet our strategic goals and drive offshore wind forward in Northern Europe.
