Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager to lead our Vietnam operations, with a focus on serving clients in the offshore and oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the marine and offshore industry, strong government and port authority relationships, and a proven track record in commercial management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee company operations in Vietnam, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and group-wide standards.

Drive business growth by identifying new commercial opportunities within the offshore and oil & gas sectors.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with key local authorities, including the Maritime Bureau, Port Authority / Harbor Bureau, and Pilot Office.

Serve as a key liaison for government relations, permits, and compliance matters.

Represent the company in high-level negotiations with clients, partners, and authorities.

Provide leadership and direction across commercial, operational, and administrative functions.

Collaborate with regional leadership to implement strategic business plans and drive profitability.

Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Build and lead a high-performing team with a strong safety and performance culture.
Requirements:

10-20 years of experience in the offshore / oil & gas / marine industry, ideally from a vessel owner, agency, or marine services background.

Strong commercial acumen with a background in business development or commercial leadership.

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.

Well-connected with key Vietnamese maritime and port stakeholders.

Fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.

Strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks and offshore logistics support operations.
