Grid Engineer a major offshore wind developer based in The Netherlands
Responsibilities.
- You will have to conduct studies for offshore wind farm projects.
- These studies are typically categorized into RMS and electromagnetic transient (EMT) domains, requiring proficiency in simulation tools such as PowerFactory and PSCAD.
- The studies include, among others, load flow, short-circuit analysis, transient stability, fault ride-through (FRT), insulation coordination, harmonic analysis, and harmonic stability
- The aim of these studies is to optimize system design, ensure grid code compliance, and develop operational guidelines for operation and maintenance (O&M).
- This requires your familiarity with relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, CIGRÉ, and others.
