Location: Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities:

Development

  • Provide ongoing support to the development team and platforms by offering input, guidance, and oversight of grid connection workstreams, ensuring due diligence at each stage.
  • Assist local developers/offices in maintaining relationships with network operators and other key stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of grid processes and tools.
  • Aid in the technical optimization of projects by collaborating with technical managers on layouts, grid connections, and project designs.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure market and general grid connection CAPEX assumptions/estimates are realistic.
  • Maintain an overview of local market grid connection processes and regulatory environments.
  • Ensure appropriate FEED is performed based on the development stage and connection complexity.

Procurement

  • Provide technical input on key project contracts to procure grid services and works (IPC, EPC, OE, O&M, PPA, etc.), ensuring project scopes are correct and risks are understood and appropriately assigned.
  • Support the procurement team in purchasing key electrical equipment.
  • Respond to grid technical connection queries during sell-downs, project acquisitions, debt processes, or due diligence.
  • Collaborate with procurement and construction managers to assess grid-related risk management and grid works schedules.
  • Assist in defining the scope of work for Owners Engineering and other relevant consultants regarding grid connection.
  • Maintain ongoing support for the relationship between the network operator and other key grid connection stakeholders.

Construction

  • Oversee grid connection activities at a high level.
  • Support the construction manager in managing interfaces between grid works, grid compliance, and other key connection stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with network operators and other key grid connection stakeholders.

Operations

  • Support ongoing relationships with network operators.

General

  • Develop and improve internal processes and operations with other teams to optimize overall commercial results.
  • Foster strong internal relationships with multi-disciplinary teams, including training and knowledge sharing (legal, technical, finance, asset management).
  • Ensure lessons learned are captured, reported, and communicated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain an overview of local market grid connection processes and regulatory environments.
  • Ensure appropriate FEED is performed based on the development stage and connection complexity.

Qualifications:

  • Industry expertise and market knowledge in Transmission, Distribution, and Renewable sectors.
  • Extensive experience managing grid connections for renewable energy projects.
  • Technical background, ideally with a degree in electrical engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of the EPC process and project specification preparation.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Flexible, precise, and capable of further business development.
  • Strong focus on delivery and attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including material preparation.
  • Team player with outstanding communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
