Grid Project Specialist

Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Grid Project Specialist who will be responsible for the supervision and correct execution of the projects of electrical power lines and substations.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Business Development department during the development phase up to reach the permits to start the activities on site.
• Coordinate with engineering department during the development of the Tender Engineering to perform the preliminary check on field.
• Management of the Procurement Phase of BOP-EPC and/or Framework Agreement for Grid Activities, in collaboration with Purchase Department: bid packages preparation, coordination of the review of the engineering documentation, review of the Purchase Conditions, Technical evaluations of the offers.
• Support the management and execution of the contracts: guarantee the correct execution of the works by the contractors from engineering phase up to the hand over to O&M Department. Define and control the Project execution, controlling and approving the work in progress and the invoicing of the contractor’s scope and the incurred out of scope.

Requirements:

• Master degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
• High level of technical knowledge of substation engineering specifically of the Italian market. Experience with Terna or ENEL will be a plus.
• Knowledge of the authorisation procedure is required.
• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish is a plus
