Our client is hiring for a HSE Professional (Manager / Director level) to oversee their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct the following activities together with or reporting to our HSE specialist stationed in Tokyo to enhance the Health, Safety, Security and Environment of project companies invested in and/or operated by Projects Business Unit in the areas:- renewable energy (onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and hydro), fossil fuel power plant (gas-fired, coal-fired), FPSO, water treatment, logistics port, digital infrastructure etc., encompassing 20-30 companies.
1) Conduct HSSE audits and site visit on the IPBU’s infrastructure assets
2) Provide various support and HSE advisory to Project Companies
3) Enhance HSSE enlightenment and awareness among the members of IPBU and Project Companies
4) Provide advice and support to IPBU’s HSSE department
5) Develop, maintain and update the IPBU’s HSSE management system
Requirements & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, civil construction, or related fields to construction and operation of infrastructure assets.
- At least 10 years of safety management experience in infrastructure industries. (In addition to on-site work experience, experience in safety and health management of multiple projects is essential.)
- OSHAS and other international safety standard qualification holders, e.g., NEBOSH, CMIOSH, MIIRSM or those with equivalent knowledge.
- Fluent English speaker
