HSEQ Executive

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Executive to support and enhance our health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives across maritime operations. This role will be responsible for upholding regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement in safety performance both onboard and onshore.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ policies and practices in marine operations.

🔹 Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures and safety awareness across vessel and shore teams.

🔹 Ensure compliance with maritime regulations (ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO), track updates, and maintain required certifications.

🔹 Perform internal audits, coordinate external inspections, and close out corrective actions in a timely manner.

🔹 Lead or support incident investigations, document findings, and verify the completion of preventive actions.

🔹 Deliver safety training, drills, and briefings; create materials to promote a proactive safety culture.

🔹 Monitor HSEQ performance metrics, report trends, and support the development of improvement plans.

🔹 Assist in emergency response preparedness, including drills and contingency planning for vessel operations.

Requirements:

🔹This position is open to candidates with Taiwanese nationality due to operational and regulatory requirements.

🔹Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.

🔹Experience in maritime HSEQ or a similar function within the shipping or offshore industry.

🔹Solid understanding of global maritime regulations and best practices.

🔹Familiar with ISM Code, ISO 14001/45001, SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag/state compliance.

🔹Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

🔹Proficient in risk assessment, audit processes, and incident investigation techniques.
