Key Responsibilities:

High Voltage Systems Maintenance & Operations:
- Planning, managing, and preparing the electrical work related to the wind farm transmission asset, incl. all HV and LV components in the onshore and offshore power system
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of high-voltage systems and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on HV systems to prevent failures and downtime.

Installation and Commissioning:
- Oversee and support the installation, commissioning, and testing of high-voltage electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors during system installation and ensure adherence to project timelines and safety standards.

Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards while working on or around high-voltage systems.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety guidelines for HV systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent electrical hazards.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to HV systems, including identifying faults, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to other teams during fault investigations and electrical outages.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing of HV equipment.
- Prepare detailed reports and summaries of work performed, including any issues encountered and resolutions implemented.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field. (Relevant certifications can also be considered in place of a degree in some cases.)

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with high-voltage electrical systems (e.g., substations, power plants, offshore wind farms, industrial HV equipment).
- Hands-on experience with the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HV equipment.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in high-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection schemes.
- Familiarity with HV testing and diagnostic tools (e.g., insulation resistance testers, HV test equipment).
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and protocols

Additional Requirements:
-
- Able to live and work in a shift pattern on a service operation vessel (SOV) and comply with Global Wind Organization (GWO) medical requirements for working offshore and onshore
- Availability for travel and on-call work as required.
- Willingness to work in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
