MEP Project Manager (Data Center)

Taylor Hopkinson is working with an international client, seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of data center projects in Korea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, proven leadership in project execution, and fluency in both Korean and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from planning to completion.
• Oversee schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful delivery of data center projects.
• Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Support presales activities such as proposal preparation, scheduling, and technical clarifications.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Drive cost optimization while ensuring operational excellence.
• Manage contract variations and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is a must (required).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in data center or critical infrastructure (required).
• Strong technical understanding of M&E systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Korea.

• 제안서, 일정 계획, 기술 질의응답 등 영업 지원 업무 수행
• 진행 현황 모니터링 및 리스크 대응
• 안전 및 품질 기준 준수 관리
• 비용 효율화 및 프로젝트 개선 추진
• 계약 변경 사항 관리 및 문서화 유지

자격 요건

• 기계공학 또는 전기공학 학사 학위 필수
• 데이터센터 또는 유사 인프라 프로젝트 관리 경력 5년 이상 필수
• M&E 시스템에 대한 기술적 이해 보유
• Microsoft Project 활용 능력, AutoCAD 경험자 우대
• 우수한 커뮤니케이션 및 리더십 역량
• 한국어 및 영어 능통자 (서면 및 구두)
• 한국 거주자 필수
