Role Summary:
The Wind Construction Manager will oversee the construction of wind energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with contractors, managing project schedules, overseeing construction activities, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience in wind energy construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of wind farm construction, including planning, resource allocation, and on-site coordination.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Ensure that all construction activities meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor progress against project milestones, resolving any issues that arise to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Manage communication with stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and internal teams.
- Prepare and submit reports on construction progress, budgets, and compliance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in the wind energy sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing contractors and site teams.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
