We are seeking a Legal Counsel with at least 3 years of legal experience, including 2 years in renewables, to support the growth of our client’s renewable energy portfolio. Reporting to the local legal manager, this role offers the opportunity to work on project development, land agreements, and M&A due diligence while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position is ideal for a legal professional looking to deepen their expertise in the renewable energy sector, working alongside a high-performing team on utility-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project development, including land acquisition, planning, and permitting processes.
- Conduct M&A due diligence, assessing risks and advising on legal aspects of transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate land agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.
- Provide legal advice on renewable energy regulations, compliance, and project structuring.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders to ensure legal and commercial alignment.
About You
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in renewable energy.
- Exposure to project development, land agreements, and M&A due diligence.
- Strong contract negotiation, risk assessment, and legal advisory skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively while supporting business objectives.
