Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Legal Counsel who will play a crucial role in assisting the local subsidiaries of an International IPP in the legal management of the development and construction of the renewables energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the due diligence activities in relation to M&A and financing transactions
- Identify and advise on legal risks associated with project development, construction and operations, proposing mitigation strategies to manage such risks effectively
- Draft, review, and negotiate the contracts related to solar energy projects and batteries, including real estate agreements, EPCs and O&M contracts, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and service contracts.
- Management of corporate books, PoAs, incorporation of companies, preparation for signing before public notaries and relevant organisation, ensure that documents (hard/soft copies) are correctly stored.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a recognised University in Italy
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
- Experience in relation to commercial contracts, real estate agreements and/or environmental law in the sector of energy for at least 2-3 years
