Manufacturing Project Manager – Foundations

Reporting to the Manager - Site Construction, this role will oversee the production of foundation components, including monopiles (MP) and transition pieces (TP). The position involves frequent travel to manufacturing sites, such as Aalborg, Denmark, and Rostock, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the manufacturing of monopiles, transition pieces, and related subcomponents.
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and project risks during the manufacturing phase.
  • Serve as the Client’s on-site representative at manufacturing facilities.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including package managers, fabricators, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Review and approve Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and completion certifications.
  • Track project progress, schedules, and load-out plans, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Participate in progress and technical meetings.
  • Conduct site visits and act as the Client’s representative during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, civil, or industrial preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience in manufacturing energy-related equipment (offshore wind experience is a plus).
  • Ability to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, documents, and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team and adapt to evolving project needs.
