Taylor Hopkinson is searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineering for a global Independent Power Producer in the renewable energy sector.
The job location is Srem, Bulgaria.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise mechanical system installation, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Study project designs, crosscheck for errors, and report to the Lead Engineer.
- Report daily on construction progress, quality control, and materials.
- Monitor construction material stock and coordinate timely delivery.
- Conduct site inspections to verify correct installation and address issues.
- Implement quality control procedures to meet project specifications.
- Assess subcontractor’s work quality and report quality breaches.
- Enforce safety protocols for a secure working environment.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate design changes.
- Collaborate with other engineers to align mechanical systems with project design.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure proper system operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Required on-site construction experience.
- Energy project experience is advantageous.
- Strong skills in organisation, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal interactions.
- Proficient in English and native Bulgarian.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD software.
- Willingness to relocate to the project site.
