O&M Electrical Engineer
In this role within the O&M and Asset Management department, you will provide support to projects pipeline in the APAC region with a homebase in Japan.
The Manager, Asset Integrity will be a key member of the operational asset management team, focusing on managing risks related to offshore wind project development. This role involves implementing asset management systems in line with ISO55000 and ISO31000 frameworks. The position requires effective risk management to ensure safety, security, asset integrity, and financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical input and documentation for project development and asset management.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to asset management and O&M.
- Schedule and ensure timely deliverable for O&M packages.
- Evaluate design concepts and technical solutions for asset integrity.
- Maintain and update financial budgets for OPEX and support CAPEX.
- Provide technical expertise for procurement and contract management.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to optimise financial and qualitative outcomes.
- Manage relationships with authorities, grid operators, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably high-voltage).
- At least 5 years of experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, or major asset management.
- Experience in Electrical Engineering, Cost Management, and Commercial Contracting.
- Efficient time management and coordination abilities.
- Native level or high business level Japanese, and effective communication skills in business-level English. Knowledge of Mandarin or Korean is a plus.
