O&M Electrical Safety Implementation Lead required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Poland.
Responsibilities
- Creating operational procedures, switching procedures and implementing electric safety rules and control of Hazardous Energy for the O&M phase of the Project.
- Align and bridge the required deliverables for the O&M phase with associated deliverables from Construction.
- Establish Client O&M Electrical Safety rules following local legislation / international standards.
- Establish and implement Client O&M electrical safety training / nomination procedures and approvals for relevant electrical roles.
- Establish Client Electrical Operation Philosophy for Low Voltage / High Voltage Operations / work.
- Lead review and acceptance of relevant electrical Operation Manuals.
- Review project interlocking concepts for O&M.
- Establish electrical switching philosophy and procedures for O&M.
- Establish communication procedures towards the O&M contractors with the focus on electrical work or tasks to be performed.
- Provide guidance to contractors with regards to Client electrical safety requirements and requirements for the control of Hazardous Energy and bridge Client training, processes, procedures and systems with the various O&M contractors.
- Establish site procedures for acceptance of RAMS for performance of O&M works while under electrical safety rules.
- Set-up and perform a review and acceptance process of RAMS for works during operation.
- Implement and supervise relevant training for O&M electrical staff according to the electrical safety rules.
- Provide input into the handover process from commissioning to O&M.
- Establish a safe work environment for the electrical work stream(s) in O&M.
- Compliance with local legislation and international standards / guidelines in the electrical working field.
- Create and Implement Wind Electric Safety Rules for the project for the O&M phase.
- Setup and implementation of electric switching procedures and control room processes for O&M.
- Nomination of authorised persons procedures for O&M.
- O&M input to the electrical team as required.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc in electric engineering or other relevant electrical degree min. Equivalent to the EQF Level 06. All necessary certificates in place to fulfill the role in acc. To the PN-EN 50110-1
- 5+ years’ experience in working with O&M or electric team in offshore wind projects and / or in HV related project management in power plants with a focus on electrical Safety / WTSR.
- * 5+ years of experience in electric engineering / commissioning and electrical Safety related roles or other relevant electrical work experience (HV).
