Responsibilities:
- Participate in O&M activities for site improvement and LV/HV electrical network maintenance.
- Manage and assist with all maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs).
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain logs of maintenance activities.
- Produce RAMS for LV scheduled works.
- Ensure electrical safety during all LV and electrical works.
- Develop new maintenance procedures as needed.
- Identify resources and subcontractors for maintenance tasks.
- Oversee contractor activities to ensure effective maintenance.
- Complete paperwork: labor returns, timesheets, expenses, material allocations.
- Liaise with the Operational management team and site operatives.
- Perform Electrical Site Technician duties on-site.
- Work on DC and LV systems, diagnose issues.
- Submit LV switching schedules per project programs.
- Promote a positive HS&E culture and suggest improvements.
- Identify and report on activity improvements and training needs.
Requirements;
- Electrical Engineering background
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as field technician for PV Solar/BESS projects
- Qualified Electrician
- Proficient in electrical systems design and solar connections
- Up to date industry recognized AP course (HV AP 2/ AP3 Authorization)
- Test equipment/ able fault finding / VLF testing /IR
- Experience in renewable energy installations (O&M, Construction, etc)
