Permit & Certification Manager for a major Bess Project based in The Netherlands
Responsibilities
- To support Employer in relation with Authorities.
- To identify and followup documentation to be delivered to Employer in this context.
- To deploy and own the permit register.
- To ensure and demonstrate that the scope delivered by the Contractor is compliant with all the permits, licences and approvals required by the permits delivered to the Employer by the Authorities.
- To identify all others permits, licences or approval the Contractor shall consider for the delivery if its scope.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Marine or related discipline).
- Minimum of 10year experience in compliance, certification, or permitting roles within the offshore or oil/gas sector, preferably also experience in HVDC business.
- Familiarity with standards from DNV, IEC, Iso and EN relevant to offshore components
- Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (e.g. Machinery Directive, PED, RED, LVD; EMC, ATEX, etc.)
- Experience in HVDC, offshore wind, oil & gas or marine infrastructure.
- Understanding of environmental and maritime permitting procedures.
- Knowledge of international conformity assessment systems.
